Who are you ? Qui êtes-vous?

I’m Vincent Urbani, a photographer and videomaker from Italy living and working between Italy and Spain.

What’s your favorite body part? Quelle est votre partie du corps préférée ?

When it comes to photograph I really like the back of the head, the shoulders and the eyes. The most important thing is to achieve a natural movement.
En matière de photographie, j’aime beaucoup l’arrière de la tête, les épaules et les yeux. Le plus important est d’obtenir un mouvement naturel.

What does nudity represent for you? Que représente la nudité pour vous?

Nudity represents the lack of barriers, limits and defences. It’s something extremely vulnerable, but strong at the same time. The power of nudity fascinates and, sometimes, frightens people. The photograph of a naked body is something timeless that goes beyond the years.
La nudité représente l’absence de barrières, de limites et de défenses. C’est quelque chose d’extrêmement vulnérable, mais de fort en même temps. Le pouvoir de la nudité fascine et, parfois, effraie les gens. La photographie d’un corps nu est quelque chose d’intemporel qui traverse les années.

Your inspiration for this project? Quelle a été votre inspiration pour ce projet?

Genesis is a hybrid project based on a mix of analogue photography, digital video and 3D. The metaphor of the rebirth of mankind in an artificial eden where ranshumanism is the key code to open the door to the future. The project is inspired by the times we are living in. We wonder ourselves what kind of future is coming up and if a real rebirth is necessary to define our new identity and a new relationship with nature.
Genesis est un projet hybride basé sur un mélange de photographie analogique, de vidéo numérique et de 3D. La métaphore de la renaissance de l’humanité dans un eden artificial où le transhumanisme est le code clé pour ouvrir la porte du futur. Le projet s’inspire de l’époque dans laquelle nous vivons. Nous nous demandons quel genre de futur nous attend et si une véritable renaissance est nécessaire pour définir notre nouvelle identité et une nouvelle relation avec la nature.
